Introductory Flight lesson in R44 Regarding the Introductory Flight Lesson, before the flight we will spend about 15 minutes going over the basic helicopter controls and operation. During the flight, you will have the opportunity to actually take the controls and fly the helicopter yourself. Since most first-time students are understandably nervous, we usually recommend the 30-minute lesson. Most people begin to relax midway through the flight and really enjoy the experience by the end. We would love for you to give it a try.
